मराठीThe ISO Tricon Container is a modular intermodal steel unit built to ISO 1161 corner casting specifications, giving operators a compact yet highly durable solution for cargo handling, remote storage, and rapid deployment. Measuring approximately one-third the length of a standard 20 ft container, this unit is designed for easy coupling into a full-size module or independent use in tight spaces. As a Tricon Storage Container, it delivers weather-resistant security with reinforced door hardware and multiple internal tie-down points. For defense and tactical missions, the Military Tricon Container configuration adds corrosion-resistant steel, blackout-compatible seals, and heavy-duty locking bars. Commercial operators and relief teams often prefer the 6.5ft Tricon Shipping Container because it moves easily by truck, rail, ship, or helicopter without special permits.
The ISO Tricon Container is fabricated from 2 mm Corten A steel wall panels, a 2 mm galvanized steel roof, and a 4.5 mm steel floor channel frame. External dimensions measure 1,979 mm in length, 2,438 mm in width, and 2,591 mm in height. Internal clearances are 1,852 mm long, 2,352 mm wide, and 2,393 mm high. The door opening is 2,340 mm wide and 2,280 mm high, with a twin-leaf design that swings 270 degrees for full access. The 28 mm marine-grade plywood floor is secured with zinc-coated screws and rated for a 7,200 kg concentrated load. Empty weight is 1,250 kg, maximum gross weight is 10,160 kg, and payload capacity is 8,910 kg. Eight ISO 1161 corner castings support stacking up to nine units high, while recessed 4-way forklift pockets allow safe lifting from any side. The ISO Tricon Container carries CSC and ISO 1496-1 certification, and its external coating includes a zinc-rich primer, an epoxy midcoat, and a polyurethane topcoat. All welds are tested according to ISO 3834-2, and the EPDM door gaskets are rated for temperatures from -40°C to +80°C.

The ISO Tricon Container can be combined with two additional modules to form a full 20 ft equivalent block, using the same twist-lock handling systems found on standard ISO equipment. It can be transported on a flatbed truck, loaded into a C-130 aircraft, or lifted by helicopter sling. The ISO Tricon Container includes recessed lashing rings rated at 2,000 kg each and a removable front panel option for open-side loading. Optional add-ons include steel tube insulation, a pressure relief valve, and a NATO slave cable port for integration with military power systems. The entire shell is finished with a three-layer anti-corrosion system tested to a 1,500-hour salt spray rating.
