At Container Family, we offer high-quality 40ft platform containers designed to meet your unique shipping and storage needs. These containers are also known as bolster containers or transiflats. Flat rack containers are similar to platform containers, however they have collapsable ends while platforms do not.

Unlike other types of shipping containers, 40Ft platform containers:
• Have an open and flat design, lacking side walls
• Convey oversized, heavy, and irregularly shaped cargo that cannot fit into regular pallets and boxes
• Facilitate easy loading and unloading from the sides, not end openings
• Cannot be stacked when loaded with cargo due to their open structure
Our 40ft platform containers are designed first and foremost for transporting cargo that cannot be suitably stored in a normal shipping container, however they have many alternative uses. 40ft platform containers are often used as walkways and bridges in temporary structures, with the container attached via twist-locks to other containers or a static mounting point. This configuration allows for temporary structures to be quickly and affordably erected and removed.
• Improved Loading and Unloading Efficiency
• Cost Savings and Reduced Packaging Requirements
• Enhanced Versatility for Different Transport Modes
• Increased Security and Protection of Cargo
