Hard-top Shipping Container

This new 20ft hard-top shipping container produced by Container Family is specially designed for heavy-duty cargo loading and shipping.Compared with the open-top shipping container,the top of this container is a detachable steel hard cover, rather than a canvas awning.This enables it to quickly handle those extremely long or overly heavy goods that cannot be loaded through the front and rear doors of standard containers.

Main Structure of this Hard Top Open Top Container:

◇Roof——Detachable Steel Top

The self-weight of the steel roof of the hard-top shipping container is approximately 450 kg. It can be lifted out of the box as a whole using a forklift or crane. After unloading, reset and lock the steel roof cover, and the box will be restored to a complete, sealed and waterproof container.

If the cargo protrudes out of the container, the roof can be removed and attached to the inside of the container,but the container loses its top protection and can only be transported over short distances. Ocean shipping is not allowed.

◇Swivelled Door Header

The rear door header can be flipped outward to open. Large items can be lifted from the top or through the large opening of rear door, making it convenient for the loading and unloading of heavy machinery.

◇Other Structure

Corrugated side panel,ventilation opening,quadrilateral casting,rear door...As same as the ISO standard shipping containers.

The Main Differences Between Hard-top Containers and Open-top Containers

Notice:

1. After the steel top cover is removed, it must be properly fixed,prevent any wear or loss during transportation

2. Goods can best be secured to the interior lashing points located in the vicinity of the side walls only when the roof is on.

3. The entire shipping process requires waterproof and dustproof. The hard-top shipping container is more suitable than the open-top container.
