The ISO standard shipping container is ideal for long-distance sea shipping,because the door is extremely durable which can withstand harsh marine environment and long-term turbulence.But for storage purpose,the heavy-duty corrugated panel and locking bars cause the container are so difficult to be opened,especially when you need frequent access.

There are five common types of doors:

1. Flat Panel Double Door(S1 Door)

Advantages:This door is made of 3mm steel panels with single locking bar,compared with the ISO standard container door(1.6mm),it is more lightweight with stronger anti-theft ability,and the surface is more smoother.Therefore, it is more suitable for storage scenarios where doors are frequently opened.

2. ISO Container Door(S2 Door)

Advantages:ISO standard shipping container door,corrugated panel with 3/4 locking bars.It has extremely high sealing and safety performance, effectively preventing seawater from entering.

Application:Heavy-duty storage,less-frequently access storage,remote site storage.

3. Premium Flat Panel Double Door(S3 Door)

Advantages:Durable flat steel panel with two locking bars.Equipped with a heavy-duty external hinge. The most remarkable feature of this door is the internal thickened compressed door seal, which significantly enhances its waterproof, dustproof and moisture-proof capabilities.

Application:Suitable for storing goods that are prone to moisture (such as documents, furniture, electrical equipment,etc.)

4. Roll-up Door

Advantages:It can be added to both the end side and long side of the container.Manual or electric operation can be accepted.The door can be opened directly upwards, without requiring any space for opening, and it has a larger loading and unloading area, making it convenient for forklift operation.

5. Personnel Door(Man Door/S5 Door)

Advantages:It is usually installed on the side or end wall of the container and is a standard single-person passage single-door made of steel. It can be equipped with 1 -2 anti-theft locks, making it quite secure and easier frequent access.
