In order to effectively carry out international container multimodal transport. We must strengthen the standardization of packaging for cases. Further efforts should be made to standardize containers. Container standards are divided into four types based on their scope of use: international standards, national standards, regional standards, and company standards.
International Standard Container (ISO) refers to an international standard container for high-speed transportation that is constructed and used in accordance with the international standards developed by Technical Committee 104 of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
Container standardization has gone through a development process. The ISO/IC104 Technical Committee of the International Organization for Standardization has been established since 1961. Multiple supplements, additions, and modifications have been made to the international standards for containers. The current international standards are the first series with a total of 13 types, and their competitiveness is the same (2438mm). There are four types of lengths (12192mm, 9125mm, 5058mm, 2391mm) and four types of heights (2896mm, 2591mm, 2438mm, 2438mm).
