1. Classification by use

We can classify special containers into general special containers and special special containers according to their different uses.

(1) General special containers

General special containers can also be called dry cargo containers or general cargo containers. They are fully enclosed containers with rigid tops, side walls, end walls and bottoms, and doors on at least one end wall. They are used to transport most general goods.

(2) Special special containers

Special special containers are general or cargo containers with a common structure for the convenience of loading and unloading goods that do not pass through end doors, or for special purposes such as ventilation.

2. Classification by different structures

(1) Inner column special containers

The characteristic of inner column special containersis that the side columns or end columns are embedded in the side walls or end walls. This structure can make the surface flat, resist the influence of oblique external forces, and facilitate marking and printing. There is a gap between the outer plate and the inner lining plate to improve the thermal insulation performance and effectively reduce the probability of moisture damage to the goods. It is worth noting that even when repairing or replacing the outer plate, the inner lining of the container does not need to be removed, which simplifies the maintenance process.

(2) External column type special container

The side columns and end columns of the external column type special containerare located outside the side walls and end walls, so when subjected to external forces, the external panels are rarely damaged, and sometimes there is no need to install an inner lining plate.
